Odstranite znak iz niza, da postane palindrom

Če imamo niz, moramo preveriti, ali je mogoče iz tega niza narediti palindrom, potem ko iz njega odstranimo točno en znak.

To težavo lahko rešimo z iskanjem položaja neusklajenosti. Zanko v nizu začnemo tako, da na obeh koncih obdržimo dva kazalca, ki se po vsaki ponovitvi premakneta proti srednjemu položaju. Ta ponovitev se bo ustavila, ko najdemo neujemanje, saj je dovoljeno odstraniti samo en znak, tukaj imamo dve možnosti.



Pri neujemanju odstranite znak, na katerega kaže levi kazalec, ali odstranite znak, na katerega kaže desni kazalec.

Preverili bomo oba primera, ne pozabite, ker smo prehodili enako število korakov z obeh strani, bi moral biti ta srednji niz tudi palindrom po odstranitvi enega znaka, tako da preverimo dva podniza, enega z odstranitvijo levega znaka in enega z odstranitvijo desnega znaka, in če je eden od njiju palindrom, potem lahko naredimo celoten palindrom niza z odstranitvijo ustreznega znaka in če oba podniza nista palindroma, potem ni mogoče narediti celotnega niza palindrom pod dano omejitvijo.
