Foreach v C++ in JAVA

Zanka foreach se uporablja za hitro ponavljanje elementov vsebnika (matrika, vektorji itd.) brez izvajanja inicializacije, testiranja ali povečanja/zmanjševanja. Zanke Foreach delujejo tako, da naredijo nekaj za vsak element, namesto da nekaj naredijo n-krat. Čeprav v C ni zanke foreach, jo podpirata C++ in Java. Prvič je bil predstavljen v C++ v C++ 11 in v Javi v JDK 1.5.0. Tako v C++ kot v Javi je ključna beseda za zanko foreach 'za'.

Sintaksa

 for (data_type variable_name : container_type) { operations using variable_name } 

Zahvaljujoč uvedbi ključne besede auto v C++ in ključne besede var v Javi nam ni treba več določati vrste podatkov za spremenljivke v zankah foreach. Sklepanje tipa zazna podatkovni tip vsebnika in nastavi spremenljivko, ki se uporablja za prečkanje, na isti podatkovni tip.
